3rd and 4th week of August

As I stated into the monthly goals post, I feel I have to focus my efforts more on some specific skating skills, I felt that I was working on too many things maybe. This summer I felt that I was improving some skills and I like that feel.

Let me mention the things I felt may have improved and things that I want to work on

-  FI Twizzles now rotate on both sides 2 revolutions! I was skeptical I will ever get there on the clockwise side... but I kept at it. I'm still a bit wobbly, so I will keep working on these and try put them on the pattern for the former Intermediate MITF, those need 2 1/2 revolution so exiting backward.

- The Tenfox got the edges deeper, the 3-turn in control and half the time quick enough. I still think it needs to be a bit faster overall, to go on the music, and I will need to work on partnering.

- 2 exercises that my dance coach gave me to improve the Foxtrot, the B CR to step Forward and the Mohawk depth of edges

- I'm working a lot on the B Cross Strokes and I don't feel I "get" them. Those are in the Juvenile MITF. To complicate things, I've realized that the Foxtrot has B Cross Rolls, meaning the foot that goes back has to touch the ice before crossing. I want both of these :)

- I continue spinning, just the F spin and just 2 to 5 per session. I don't feel much progress. I don't feel i can spin much on the left foot, since that is the boot that is slightly too small and spinning seems that it tenses my calf muscle.

- the MITF Juvenile double 3-turns, 8step Mohawk, B power 3-turns, crossovers
